Home

I’m often asked about my personal design sense. While our home is Mid Century leaning, a custom built home from 1960, I tend to lean into Hollywood Glam meets Brutalism. Our home is similar, in many ways to the home I grew up in, where my parents still live; car ports, decorative dividing screens, low profile roof line. It’s often assumed our home is filled with MCM furnishings and a very simplistic design sense; it’s not. Instead, I prefer luxurious velvets, grass cloth where it suits, a few sparkles, treasured objects and never enough chinoiserie. I love competing elements such as concrete and floral, a push and pull of textures, it creates the interest we all crave. ps. please excuse the quick cellphone photos :)
