West Coast Global

I was invited into this home to help the clients find purpose and define their style. While the clients have killer fashion sense, it wasn’t reflected in their home. We pulled travel mementos from storage, and updated several furniture items they had and loved, including a recently upholstered Art Deco armchair, a MCM teak credenza and most notably, the lamp from A Christmas Story sitting proudly on the piano. Their love of textures was a fab opportunity to use a natural plum grass-cloth in the living room with floral wallpaper in the dining room beyond. A small nod to Art Deco with the use of a figurative table lamp on the entrance cabinet which plays nicely with the Crane motif custom linen drapery.

Layering a variety of textures and styles adds depth and interest and magically work so well together.
